Mudroom and Laundry Remodeling in Alpharetta, GA
Mudrooms and laundry rooms are where a house either absorbs daily life or fails to. They are also the rooms most often shoehorned into leftover space — and reclaiming three feet from an adjacent room is frequently the difference between a hallway with hooks and a room that works.

What a project like this includes
- A plan that starts from where people and things actually enter the house
- Reclaiming space from an adjacent room where that is what the plan needs, with the structure checked
- Built-in lockers, benches, and storage sized to your household rather than to a standard
- Laundry plumbing, electrical, venting and drain-pan detailing done properly
- Flooring specified for wet boots and a leaking washer, not for a photograph
- Ventilation and dryer duct routed to the outside on the shortest sensible run
- Permit where the work moves plumbing or structure
- Final clean and the five-year workmanship warranty
What it usually does not
- Appliances above the allowance in your proposal
- Relocating a laundry to a floor with no drain path, unless the drain work is in the scope
- Exterior door and stoop replacement unless it is in the scope
Anything on this list can be brought into scope. It is here because it is not automatically in it, and knowing that now is worth more than finding out in month three.

What this usually involves
We publish four investment ranges and our minimum of $60,000, along with what each range typically includes and who we are honestly not the right firm for. Your own number comes from the Fixed-Price Proposal in phase four, once the drawings exist.
Browsing rather than scoping? Whole House in the portfolio is the same work photographed rather than described.

Questions about mudrooms & laundry
How long does a mudroom or laundry take?
Design is typically four to six weeks and construction five to nine weeks. Custom lockers and benches carry the same millwork lead time as cabinetry, which is why they get ordered during design.
What investment range does this usually land in?
Usually the lower half of our first band on its own, and it is one of the projects most often folded into a larger one. All four ranges are on The Right Fit.
Can we move the laundry upstairs?
Often, and it is one of the highest-satisfaction changes we make. The questions are the drain path, the floor structure carrying the load, and the pan and overflow detailing, which we take seriously — a second-floor laundry that leaks does it into a ceiling.
What does the five-year workmanship warranty cover?
Our workmanship for five years from substantial completion, including the millwork and the plumbing installation. The appliances carry their own manufacturer warranties.
