Kitchen Remodeling in Milton, GA
A Milton kitchen is a design problem with a utilities problem underneath it. Before we settle a layout we settle what the site will carry, because on most addresses here the site is a septic field rather than a sewer main.

A pot filler and a prep sink are a septic question here
Kitchens are where fixture count creeps without anybody deciding to increase it. A prep sink, a pot filler, a second dishwasher and an ice maker are four additions that nobody thinks of as plumbing, and on a Milton address most of them land on a septic system rather than a sewer main — the city does not provide wastewater service, less than a fifth of its land area is sewered, and the Unified Development Code treats septic capacity as the binding limit rather than zoning. So the order of operations on a Milton kitchen is inverted from everywhere else we work: we establish what the field will carry, then we draw the plan that fits inside it. The second Milton-specific item is the tree ordinance, which only enters a kitchen project when the kitchen brings a bump-out with it — a two-foot extension for an island run is a site-plan change, and the canopy standard at UDC § 11.1 does not care that the reason was cabinetry.

The same caveat everywhere: cabinetry sets the end date
Whatever town the house is in, custom and semi-custom cabinetry runs eight to fourteen weeks from approved drawings, and it is almost always the longest lead time in a kitchen. That is why we order it during the design phase rather than after demolition, and it is why a kitchen that starts with a signed design agreement in January is not a kitchen that finishes in March. Any firm telling you otherwise is either not designing or not busy.
What this covers
Each of these is a service in its own right, offered in Milton and everywhere else we work. What follows is how it goes in Milton specifically, rather than a fifteenth thing we do.
Kitchens
Layout first, then everything else. Most of our kitchens move a wall.
Custom Cabinetry
Rooms that fit their house instead of fitting a catalogue's increments.
Floor Plan Reconfiguration
The square footage is right. The walls are in the wrong places.
Questions about kitchen remodeling
How long does a kitchen take?
Design runs eight to fourteen weeks depending on how much the layout moves. Construction is typically ten to sixteen weeks for a kitchen with layout changes, and less for one that stays inside its existing walls. You get a written schedule with the Fixed-Price Proposal, before you sign anything.
What investment range does a kitchen usually land in?
Kitchens are the most common project in our two middle bands. Rather than put a number here with no context attached, we publish all four ranges — what each one typically includes, what it covers, and who we are honestly not the right firm for — on The Right Fit.
Can we keep using the kitchen during the work?
No. A kitchen down to the studs has no water, no power at the counters, and no appliances for most of the schedule. We set up a temporary kitchen somewhere sensible on day one — a sink, a refrigerator, a microwave and a work surface — and we plan the demolition around where that lands.
What does the five-year workmanship warranty cover on a kitchen?
Our workmanship: framing, drywall, tile setting, cabinetry installation, trim, paint adhesion, and the installation of the fixtures and appliances we put in. The appliances and the cabinetry finishes carry their own manufacturer warranties. The full written terms are part of your contract.
Should we do the kitchen on its own or as part of something larger?
If the walls around the kitchen are also wrong, doing them together is one design, one permit and one mobilization instead of two. If the rest of the plan works, a kitchen on its own is a clean project and we do plenty of them.
